Zion Cemetery near Martinsburg, Iowa Beverly Joyce Conger, age 71, of Keswick, formerly of the Ollie area, entered into the Kingdom of God peacefully in her home surrounded by her loved ones on Wednesday, January 21, 2009. Beverly was born on Thanksgiving Day, November 25, 1937, near Ollie in Keokuk County, to Adna and Edna Patterson Hollingsworth. The family later moved to their farm near Sigourney, Iowa, in 1940. She was united in marriage to Francis Conger on August 7, 1955, in Packwood, Iowa. Beverly worked outside the home for a short time, but the biggest portion of her life was spent caring for her home, family, and friends. Beverly was a very loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She enjoyed flowers, gardening, cooking, and baking. Her true love was spending time with her family. Shw was a member of the New Life Fellowship Church in Keswick. Beverly is survived by her devoted husband, Francis Conger of Keswick; son, Jerry (Mitzi) Conger of Panama City, Florida; daughter, Susie (Michael) Peden of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; grandchildren, Cory Popejoy of Keswick and fiance Sandra Kostic of Schwabich Gmund, Germany, Jessica (James) Isler of South Port, Florida, Patrick (Jesilee) Conger of Panama City, Florida, Dana (Gabriel) Cox of Waterloo, Iowa, Stephanie (Eric) Roberts of Panama City, Florida; great grandchildren Rachel Isler, Kaelyn Joyce Cox, Taylor and Lauren Dunn; sisters Virginia Bottorff of Silvis, Illinois, Maxine Chatwin of Glendora, California; brother Joe (Barb) Hollingsworth of Sigourney, Iowa. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Roy, Rex, Melvin, and Marvin; sisters Lucille, Donna, Rosanna, Linda, and Lorraine. Memorials may be made in her name to Hospice of Keokuk County.
