September 20, 2004 at Fremont Funeral Chapel Interment: Ollie Cemetery-Ollie, Iowa Ronald "Butch" Gene Conger age 63 formerly of Ollie died Wednesday, September 15th, 2004 at Maplewood Manor in Keota, Iowa. He was born April 8th, 1941 in Ollie to Farris A. and Laura Edna Sipe Conger. He was raised in the Ollie area and spent most of his life living with his parents and helping them around the house. In 1976, Ronald was admitted to the Maplewood Care Center in Keota due to mom not being able to take care of him. "Butch" enjoyed watching T.V., especially the Dukes of Hazard, listening to the radio, working on the farm, and helping out when others were working on cars and machinery. Ronald is survived by two brothers, Richard and his wife Margaret Conger of Ollie, and Francis and his wife Beverly Conger of Keswick, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Raymond "Red" Conger, two sisters; Shirley Andeway, and Velma Jean Conger in infancy. A memorial has been established in his name.
